Win-back email template

Bring back clients who have not been in for 90 days

This template is the first email in a win-back flow. It uses the client's name, repeats what the barber remembers about their cut, and gives a dated reason to come back.

How it gets sent

How the Lapsed Customer Win-back flow sends it

Once the flow is turned on, AguMail sends this email by itself every time it should go out.

This flow runs on every plan, Free included.

It needs: Each customer's last visit date, from an import, the AguMail API or a contact edit

Lapsed Customer Win-back

  1. Starts when

a customer has not visited for 90 days and has nothing booked

  2. That morning

    We miss youThis email

  3. 7 days later

    One more reason

  4. They book or visit.

Why it works

Why this email works

  1. 1It opens with the client's name and their usual cut. Alex, number two on the sides, a little off the top. That line comes from notes the barber already keeps in the book, and it tells the reader this note was written for them.
  2. 2The offer is small and has an end date. $5 off any cut through November 30, mentioned at the desk or online. It is easy to say yes to, and the date keeps it from sitting in the inbox for months.
  3. 3It answers the reason people stop coming in. Weeknights after 5 pm are the quietest, and the email says so. Walk in, or book and skip the wait. That gives the reader a time to come back, not just a discount.
  4. 4A second email follows if they still stay away. This one goes out when a client has not visited in 90 days and has nothing booked. Seven days later the flow sends One more reason to anyone who has still not booked, and it stops as soon as they come in.

It has been a while since you sat in our chair. Marcus still keeps your notes in the book: number two on the sides, a little off the top.
